Unique, ecological production
CO2-free power supply
A photovoltaic system on the roof of the DORBENA company has been supplying the firm with green energy since 2010. It covers about 50 % of the required energy demand.
Our own mountain spring water
The down and feathers are cleaned with our own pure mountain spring water before being sorted. The clean water contributes significantly to the high quality of the down and feathers.
No live plucking
Our exclusive downs and feathers are unmatched in terms of filling power and bulkiness, and come from the «happy» oat-fed geese from Masuria in Poland. The geese live in small flocks, are allowed to range free, have access to fresh water and are fed with oats in the last few weeks.
Environmentally-sound disposal
Even when a product comes to the end of its life cycle, we ensure that it is disposed of in an environmen-
tally sound way. The products are taken apart free
of charge, sorted and then composted by organic farmers or burnt.
Recycling
At DORBENA, waste products such as paper, plastic, and so on are collected in separate containers so that the materials can be recycled and reused.
